Every year some movies comes which not only are the fire at the box office but
also the highest grossing movies of the year. Every year there are some movies
releases which make records and enter the group of highest grossing movies of
year. Now we discuss the Bollywood box office report so far and how the films
have managed to break some record in year 2016.
Now we will discuss about the movies so far and
which movies have done good collection at the box office and which movies have
to see failure at the box office. So let’s start with the January month, in
this month Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starring movie Wazir was released
on 8 January and the film did a decent box office collection at the box office.
The film did 40 crores collection at the box office and became first hit film
of the year. Then Akshay Kumar starring film Airlift released on the same month
on 22nd January and the film became the first blockbuster film of
the year with the earnings of 130.29 crores. The film Airlift saw a clash with
Ekta Kapoor’s film Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 and the film was a huge flop at the box
office. The film Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 just did the collection of 30 crores at the
box office, however the film was made on the budget of 25 crores but the film
is third part of the series so makers are expecting more money from the film.
Then Sunny Leone’s Mastizaade released on the last
week of the month and the film did a very poor collection at the box office as
see to the budget of the film. Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das starring Mastizaade
just did the collection of 38.42 crores collection at the box office. On the
same date released film R. Madhavan starring Saala Khadoos also did a poor
collection at the box office and become another flop of the month with the
earnings of 14.75 crores. Then in the next month of February there are some
movies which did a decent collection at the box office. As starting of the
month Sunny Deol’s Ghayal once again and Mawra Hoccane and Harshvardhan Raane’s
film Sanam Teri Kasam did average collection at the box office like Ghayal once
again did 37 crores collection on the other hand Sanam Teri Kasam did 11 crores
collection which is very good for the new comer actors. In the last part if we
analyze the report then Akshay Kumar starring Airlift and Sonam Kapoor starring
Neerja are the blockbuster movies of the year so far.
